October is here!!

Hey everyone! Sorry for the delay in posting changes to the schedule!!
Here is the updated playlist. Listen to the music and it will be easier to learn the moves!

Candace and I wanted to thank everyone so much for coming to the Zumbathon on Saturday! We had a great turn out and a great workout!! You ladies bless us so much!! By your giving, we will be able to spread the love of God to others who might not have heard it before.

Please remember to keep coming to the blog for updated prayer requests. It is very important for us to continually be lifting each other up in prayer.
We also wanted to let you know that if you ever want to come to class a few minutes early or walk around the gym to pray or if you ever felt lead to walk around the building and pray, we would love to have you join us.

If you have not come to introduce yourself to us, please do that. We would love to meet you and get to know you on a more personal level.

We love y'all! See you tomorrow!

Where is your heart?

People have been asking about why we are getting so involved with P61....
Here is our view: Candace
Six months ago, I was wondering to myself, why would anyone want to go on a foreign mission trip? Much less all the way across the globe to Africa. I had made up my mind that foreign travel with a mission agenda was not for me. I told myself, I will stay here, and continue in the local mission field here in Spring Hill and Thompson's Station. Well, as you all know, what you may have in mind, is not always what God has in His plan for you....
It was April 22nd, and I sat in a room filled with women I watched a video of these orphans living in a trash dump in Ethiopia. As I saw the faces of these people, I couldn't help but feel compassion for them and began to wonder what I could do? As the pictures flashed the words of the song playing by Brooke Fraser stuck in my head, "Now that I have seen, I am responsible, faith without deeds is dead. Now that I have held you, in my own arms, I cannot let go til you are."
In that moment, I heard GO, GO, GO, you must GO!!!
That was 5 months ago, and today I am preparing to go on my first international mission trip to Africa in January. I am a worrier by nature, but God has given me the peace that surpassing all of my understanding, and I have no worries or anxiety about this trip. I know that I am being obedient and God will take care of me since I am answering this call.

"A brother or sister in Christ might need clothes or food. If you say to that person, "God be with you!! I hope you stay warm and get plenty to eat, " but you do not give what that person needs, your words are worth nothing. In the same way, faith that is alone, that does nothing, is dead. James 2:15-17

Kacey:
So over the past couple of years, my husband and I have been trying to have a baby. We went to the doctor 1 1/2 years ago and we learned the reasoning. We have worked on different parts of the issues, but still no baby. My husband and I have always wanted to adopt, we just thought it would be after we had our own kids. So after the last trip to the doctor, we started talking more seriously. In March, we mailed off paperwork and a week later my sister in law got back from Africa. She told me about a specific case that she knew of when she was on her trip. To make a long story short, Nick and I went to go meet some special people in Africa in June, and today we are raising money to bring someone special home. Could this fall through? Sure, it could! But even if it does, I know that God put this in my life for a reason. I know that everything that has happened because of our desire to have kids has opened our eyes to new opportunities that we would not have witnessed before. If you have questions about my story, come talk to me...you might even see some pictures of my special one!!

"I was hungry, and you gave me food. I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink. I was alone and away from home, and you invited me into your house. I was without clothes, and you gave me something to wear. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me." Then the good people will answer, "Lord, when did we see you hungry and give you food, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you alone and away from home and invite you into our house? When did we see you without clothes and give you something to wear? When did we see you sick or in prison and care for you?"
Then the King will answer, "I tell you the truth, anything you did for the least of my people here, you also did for me."
Matthew 25:35-40
