We can't believe that we are already here!! As we start to reflect on our last month before summer, we want to say a few things...
We want to thank each of you so much for making this year of Zumba at TSC so wonderful!
We feel so richly blessed to be a part of such a caring group of women.
Who would have ever thought that an exercise class could be such a family to us?
God is SO good!!
This ministry means so much to both of us and it is only by you coming that any of it is possible at all.
We want to encourage each of you to keep active over the summer and please keep in touch. We will continue to update the blog and Facebook often. We want to hear from you just as we do when we are having weekly classes. Feel free to email us or talk to us on Facebook. We will miss you over the break! But keep in mind that this break is short and we will be back, full force, in August.
We will also try to keep you updated with happenings at TSC if anyone is interested.
Philippians 1.3
Every time I think of you, I thank my God.

Testimony from Maria
In January of 2010, I found out that I had some fairly significant health issues going on. I felt fine, I mean, sure I could stand to lose some weight but who doesn’t say that, right? I was advised or prescribed to go on a low-glycemic diet and exercise with a goal of losing 60 pounds. SO, I began doing the new LG eating and thought about exercise. It took me a month to get up the nerve to try Zumba but I am SO GLAD I DID!!! I enjoy it so much!
I have met so many wonderful ladies through Zumba for Christ and it has helped me to stay accountable with my exercise. It’s a wonderful and safe environment, and uplifting to workout with my new friends every week. It is the only real exercise that I have stuck with consistently in my entire life. I have lost 49 pounds and have improved or rid myself completely of a lot of the health issues that I was diagnosed with. I feel wonderful, energetic, and can’t wait for class each week. I try to memorize verses to recite to myself when I feel like I won’t make it through a tough song or on a rough day. I am so thankful to have the music on the blog so that I can get an instant pick-me-up. I pray that the Lord will help me make wise choices and stick to what I need to do so that I may be used fully by Him. Making the changes that I have made have really helped me come more out of my shell and more comfortable reaching out to people that I would otherwise be “shy” about talking to, etc. I just want to encourage you to set goals, ask the Lord for help, get an accountable circle of friends, and keep coming to Zumba! It will make a difference that will help you make a difference in your life and the lives around you! Thank you to Candace, Kacey and TSC for providing this ministry!!!

Easter is coming! What does this mean??
Jesus knew the purpose for his life on earth. He endured the cross with that purpose in mind.
Luke 24:1-12 ESV
(1) But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they went to the tomb, taking the spices they had prepared. (2) And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb, (3) but when they went in they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. (4) While they were perplexed about this, behold, two men stood by them in dazzling apparel. (5) And as they were frightened and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? (6) He is not here, but has risen. Remember how he told you, while he was still in Galilee, (7) that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified and on the third day rise.” (8) And they remembered his words, (9) and returning from the tomb they told all these things to the eleven and to all the rest. (10) Now it was Mary Magdalene and Joanna and Mary the mother of James and the other women with them who told these things to the apostles, (11) but these words seemed to them an idle tale, and they did not believe them. (12) But Peter rose and ran to the tomb; stooping and looking in, he saw the linen cloths by themselves; and he went home marveling at what had happened.
He is not here, but has risen
Praise Jesus!!
Thank you, Jesus, for saving me from my sin!
